We’re pleased to offer convenient EV charging for our guests during their stay. Our VoltShare charging point makes it straightforward to power up your electric vehicle, ideal for overnight charging.
The Basics
Charger type: Type 2 socket (untethered cable)
Power output: 7kW
Payment: Card payment via VoltShare (not included in your stay)
Location: Dedicated EV parking bay in the car park, next to the Cycle Store. Conveniently located near Bluebell Pod, Damson Pod and Lavender Pod and approximately 120m from Ewe Lodge.
Finding the Charger
On arrival on Agnes Meadow Lane, follow the signs for Mulino Lodge – Farm & Retreat. Once you reach the farm, follow signs to the Pods where the EV charging bay is located in the main car park next to the Cycle Store.

Before You Arrive
You have two options for paying and activating the charger:
- Download the VoltShare app — Install the VoltShare mobile app before your visit, create an account, and save your payment card. This gives you live charging status on your phone.
- Use the QR code on arrival — No app needed. Simply scan the QR code on the charging point with your phone camera when you arrive. You’ll be directed to a web page where you can add your payment card and start charging immediately.
If your vehicle has a Type 2 port, you’re ready to go. The charger is untethered so please remember to bring your own cable.
How to Charge in Four Steps
- Park in the EV charging bay — Use only the designated EV parking space when you are actively charging. Please relocate your vehicle as soon as charging is complete so other guests can use the facility.
- Plug in your vehicle — Connect the Type 2 cable to your car’s charging port.
- Start charging — Either use the VoltShare app or scan the QR code on the charger. Add your payment card if you haven’t already.
- Unplug when finished — Once charging is complete, please unplug and move your car.
Charging Time
At 7kW, your vehicle will typically gain around 30 miles of range per hour of charging. The exact time depends on your vehicle’s battery capacity and current charge level.
Parking Bay Etiquette
To ensure all our guests can enjoy the charging facility, please remember:
- Only park in the EV charging bay when you are actively using the charger.
- Move your vehicle once charging is complete.
- Do not block the bay with non-EV vehicles.
This helps us keep the charger accessible for all guests.
Troubleshooting
- I cannot start a session or the charge ended unexpectedly: Switch off your car and lock the doors. Unplug the charging lead from your car (or the charger), wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Scan the QR code again to check the updated status and try once more.
- The charger is showing offline or unavailable: Check that the LED indicator light on the charger is lit. If the light is off, please contact VoltShare support on 0808 303 0629 or support@voltshare.co.uk.
